BOARD 13

Board 13 is the common name for a board product out of our "substrate range" above, which has been upgraded with a decorative, high pressure laminate on one or both sides to give you the colour and durability of the laminate and the characteristics, thickness and strength of the chosen board product.

We import our own range of Merino laminates in various colours and sizes which are ideal to be pressed onto our large range of sizes, thicknesses and grades of chipboard, MDF or plywood.

The application area would dictate which substrate to use - e.g. if cost is a factor, chipboard, if it is going to be exposed to moisture, plywood etc and the laminate will lend these boards the necessary design you are after.

We offer double-face (D/F) and single-face (S/F) meaning both or only one side pressed, however we do recommend a balancing laminate backer on the other side if opting for single face in order to prevent warping or bowing of the board.

Board 13 turns any of the laminate colours you like into a board product that is easy to manufacture and long lasting. It is commonly used for paneling, furniture, office furniture, accent walls, bathroom cubicles and various other decorative elements.
